# Plans and Billing

GoClubin is free for clubgoers and includes a forever-free starter plan for acts and venues. Upgrade to **Act Pro** or **Venue Pro** when you want additional profiles, rich media showcases, multi-show scheduling, and direct booking requests.

## Subscribe or switch billing intervals

Open **Upgrade** (`/billing/upgrade`) when signed in as an Act Manager or Venue Manager:

1. **Pick Monthly or Yearly billing**

   Use the toggle at the top of the pricing page to compare **Monthly** and **Yearly** billing. Yearly plans display the effective monthly rate and percentage savings.

2. **Complete checkout**

   Click **Get Act Pro** or **Get Venue Pro** to open checkout. Make sure your account uses a valid email address before starting checkout.

3. **Switch intervals or manage your subscription**

   Return to `/billing/upgrade` at any time to switch an active subscription between monthly and yearly billing, or open the **Billing Portal** (`/billing/portal`) to update payment methods, download invoices, or cancel.

## What happens if you downgrade or cancel

Your profile data is never deleted when a Pro subscription ends:

- **Saved fields remain intact**: Booking notes, social links, and other Pro content stay stored on your act or venue in the editor. They are hidden from the public profile page while your subscription is inactive and reappear automatically if you re-subscribe.
- **Existing profiles stay accessible**: If you created multiple acts or venues while on Pro, your existing profiles are preserved; you only need an active Pro plan (or a custom limit increase) to create or claim additional ones beyond the Free limit.
